The recently released film, The Ballad of Jack and Rose stars Daniel
Day-Lewis, Camilla Belle and a copperhead snake. Reptilia provided the
snake for the film
and worked on set to ensure that the director, Rebecca Miller, got the shots
she wanted.
The Ballad of Jack and Rose is about Jack (Daniel Day-Lewis) and his daughter, Rose (Camilla Belle), who live in a commune off the coast of the Eastern U.S. Jack is terminally ill and Rose is growing up and becoming a woman. When Jack brings his girlfriend, Kathleen (Catherine Keener), and her two sons to live with them, the tranquility of the commune life is forever changed.
