Bearded dragons are exceptionally fast growing lizards.  The bearded dragon in the middle is only three weeks younger than the two animals at its side.  A bearded dragon can grow as much as 2.5 cm a week!  They need to grow quickly because they only have a short time (approx. 6-10 years) in which to grow up, find a mate, and reproduce.   (Photo: Joshua V.
