The Colombian Boa Constrictor has been a popular pet among snake enthusiasts for several decades. This species readily breeds in captivity and is a relatively calm and docile snake as an adult. Furthermore, the average adult grows to a length of between 2 and 2.5 meters which is not too large to manage.
