This is an albino Burmese Python.  Just one of the many varieties of Burmese Pythons available in the pet industry.  Although they are readily bred in captivity, Burmese Pythons are not a good pet.  Unfortunately, most pet owners don't find this out until after they have purchased the snake.  The end result is a half grown, neglected animal that needs a good home.  If you are reading this and considering getting a burmese python, resist the temptation to purchase one and get something that grows to be a more manageable adult.  (Photo: Joshua V.
