UPDATE: MARCH 22, 2020,
As it becomes more evident how crucial it is for us to follow precautions surrounding the spread of COVID-19, we here at Reptilia believe it is important now more than ever to stay connected with all of you and to do our part in bringing joy and hope to you and your families. While we have chosen to cease all camps and public animal viewing for the safety and well being of the community, we are remaining open on limited hours for reptile owners to purchase food and supplies (Tue/Thu/Sat 12-1PM).
We understand the financial pressure many of us will face in these uncertain times, therefore we will be offering 40% off live crickets to all of our guests. We ask all our guests who plan to purchase supplies from us to take precautions when traveling to and from our facilities and to practice safe social distancing. We remain very committed to providing a safe, sanitized environment for our guests which includes practicing physical distancing, surface sanitization, sanitization of all cash/terminals before and after each use, new disposable gloves worn for each interaction and access to handwashing/sanitization stations.
While our facilities are unopened to the public, our animals still require care and love to thrive in their respective environments. We have decided to take this unique opportunity to not only work on improving our animal’s enclosures but to provide them with more enrichment and experiences that are unique to having an empty building every day! Our commitment to staying connected with you means we will be providing updates daily via our social media channels that will give you behind-the-scenes footage of what’s happening here at Reptilia. Follow us at www.instagram.com/reptilia_reptile_kingdom to check out our Instagram stories – that’s where all the real fun happens!
As we plan for exciting times ahead, we will continue to accept donations for the Reptilia Education & Conservation Foundation (RECF), and look to a bright future full of education and learning through experiences. We also can’t wait to reveal new animals with brand new, themed, top of the line enclosures and experiences for you to come to visit soon.
The future ahead is bright and although this is a time of loss for many of us, it is important for us all to remember we will come out stronger, more united, and with newfound creativity. Every day we see a greater sense of partnership, respect for our planet and innovation amongst our community which we believe will push us towards the future we want to see.
Thank you for your continued support.
