TORONTO, ON — Reptilia recently visited Ronald McDonald House in Toronto to provide a complimentary reptile education program for children and families staying at the House.
Reptilia’s animal care and education team brought several reptile ambassadors for an interactive presentation, giving families an opportunity to meet the animals up close while learning about their biology, adaptations, conservation and care.
As part of the visit, Reptilia also donated a large collection of plush animals for children and families at the House.
“Community education has always been an important part of what we do at Reptilia,” said Ryan Vince, General Manager of Reptilia. “We were grateful for the opportunity to spend some time with the families, share a few incredible animals and hopefully bring a little extra fun to their day.”
Reptilia operates accredited reptile zoos in Vaughan, Whitby and London, Ontario, providing animal care, conservation initiatives and educational programming for schools, families and community organizations across the province.
